Prof Glenda Daniels is associate professor in Media Studies at Wits University, Johannesburg. She also serves as Secretary General at (Sanef). Her books include: Fight for Democracy: the ANC and the Media in South Africa (Wits Press: 2012) and Power and Loss in South Africa Journalism: news in the age of social media (2020). She co-edited the book: Women Journalists in South Africa: democracy in the age of social media (Palgrave Macmillan, 2022).
