The Origins of the M20

The first M20 meeting was held online on 6 September 2023 in Delhi, convened by the editor of The Wire,
Siddharth Varadarajan, with the help of an organising committee which comprised eleven editors from India and a former Judge of the Indian Supreme Court. The chair of the South African National Editors’ Forum, Makhudu Sefara, as well as other South African Editors, also attended the meeting.
